NEWS AND NOTES FROM PHIL, MARY AND THE STAFF...

The Ides of March are upon us. Does that mean no more piles of snow and get ready for Spring? They say that change is always good; but, you may have noticed we have had a little change in the dining room and staff. “The Don,” as our regular guests like to refer to him, graduated from Triangle Tech and has accepted a full-time job building and repairing rollercoasters throughout the country.

Katie, our server/classical flutist, has returned to finish her music degree in the South; she will return in the summer. Congratulations to both of you. Ashton has taken a leave of absence while her 8-month baby Austin is recuperating from surgery. We pray for his continued recovery.

Join us in welcoming a few new faces to the floor: Colton Stine, Carrie Fisher, Jessica Byerly, and Adam Christianson. Our kitchen
welcomes Shawn Reinard, Shannan Smith, Shannon Stalfort,
Prudence Barlett, and Annie Kinney. This new staff has been a
nice addition to our team.

If you missed the SS Victoria Mediterranean Meal – you really
missed the boat so to speak. The meal was great and the wines
were fun to try. The Chilean wine dinner this month will be fun
and our guest speaker John Corr will be with us from Southern
Wines and Spirits.

The ice sculptures from RB Winter State Park were a hit! The lake wasn’t frozen so this year we didn’t leave the sculptures at the park. Angela Hess and Annie made the football helmet for the Super Bowl, Miranda made the heart for Valentine’s Day, and Chef Phil did a sail fish in honor of our annual winter retreat to the Keys. We wish everyone a safe and happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Red Cross Month
Dine Out for Disaster Help out our local Union County Red Cross when you dine in either The Victoria House or Vic’s Pub on Wednesday, March 3rd.

A portion of our proceeds will be donated to our local Red Cross chapter. Thank you in advance - everyone can help!
